Chris Pine Joins Film Adaptation of A WRINKLE IN TIME

Chris Pine has been cast to play Meg Murry's father in the upcoming film adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time. Deadline says the actor will be joining Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who will play Dr. Murry, and Storm Reid, who is playing Meg Murry. The film will be directed by Ava DuVernay. 

I don't remember much about the book, as I read it as a child, but I remember I enjoyed it enough to read the spin-off novels! My mother (who's 40-ish) loved the books as a kid, so I imagine it's going to be a big hit for the crowd around that age and maybe even spawn a new generation of fans! The film is expected to start filming before the end of December.
