DON'T BREATHE Earns Impressive Thursday Night Screening Numbers of Nearly $2 Million

Horror film Don't Breathe (which debuts this weekend) is already off to a great start. Deadline reports that box office totals from last night's preview showings of the film around the nation came in at around $1.875 million, which just barely outperforms Lights Out, which opened at $1.8 million last month.

For those not familiar with the film, Don't Breathe is a horror film about a heist gone wrong when three people break into the home of a wealthy blind man. What they don't expect is that the blind man is a near superhuman when it comes to strength and craziness. The film looks nuts, and seeing as it's coming from Evil Dead remake director Fede Alvarez, it probably is! Will you be seeing it? Read our review here.
