Netflix Trolls North Korean Imitator Admitting They Are Just A Knock Off of It

Apparently, North Korea isn't as uptight as we all thought. Don't get me wrong, it's still a tyrannical nation with an iron grip on its starving people, but they do have a Netflix. Well, I guess it's more correct to say "we" have a Netflix that was stolen from their clearly superior invention, the "Manbang."

The Verge reports Manbang, contrary to what its name might imply, is the latest technology to get in the streaming game. It allows its users to access North Korean-approved content via the Internet (which they can't actually use), and provide language lessons in English and Russian. You can see the product reveal in the video below.

Netflix, wishing to welcome its new rival, took to Twitter (pictured above) to poke fun at the new technology, which has an interface strikingly similar to its platform. To be honest, I kind of want one so I can see what North Koreans watch in their free time! You think they have House of Cards
