Watch Neill Blomkamp’s New BMW Short Thriller THE ESCAPE
Director Neill Blomkamp has teamed back up with Clive Owen for a new BMW short film called The Escape. This time around, they even brought Dakota Fanning, Jon Bernthal, and Vera Farmiga along for the wild ride!
The short film is a continuation of a short film series that Blomkamp and Owen made together back in 2001-2002 for BMW. Each of the films featured Owen, who was a rising star at the time, as the mysterious Driver who was hired to complete various missions. Each of these shorts were directed by some great talent at the time.
I remember being blown away by that film when I first saw the films in this series, and I thought it was so cool that BMW brought Blomkamp and Owen back for another chapter in the story. As you'll see, it turned out thrillingly awesome! It features one hell of an action-packed car chase!
