Michelle Pfeiffer to join Tim Burton's DARK SHADOWS

It looks like Michelle Pfeiffer and Tim Burton will work together again for the first time since 1992's Batman Returns when she played Catwoman. Pfeiffer is currently in negotiations to join the cast of Dark Shadows in which she would play the character Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, the reclusive matriarch of the Collins family which runs the Maine town. This character hasn't left the mansion since the disappearance of her husband a decade earlier.

Pfeiffer will join Johnny Depp who is taking on the lead role of Barnabus, Jackie Earle Haley will play Willie Loomis, Bella Heatcote will be Victoria Winters, and Eva Green will play the character Angelique Bouchard Collins.

The long-running 1960's soap opera has over 1,225 episodes, and featured a great deal of Gothic horror players like vampires, monsters, witches, werewolves, ghosts and zombies.

It will be cool to see Burotn and Pheiffer work together again, and I'm sure she'll do great in the the role. I'm actually surprised we haven't seen much of Pfeiffer in films these days. She's a solid actress that still looks good.
