Eric Bana on board Sheldon Turner's BY VIRTUE FALL

Movie Eric Bana by

Sheldon Turner, co-writer of Up in the Air, is set to write and direct a new dramatic thriller called By Virtue Fall. The film "looks at two ATF agents who find themselves on opposite sides of the friendship divide after one sells out the other." The project has been in development for a while and is now gaining some traction.

As of last year, both Bana and Colin Farrell were interested in starring and producer Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker) was set to produce. Since then, Farrell has dropped out and Chartier says he's no longer involved with the project. The good news is that Bana is still involved and said, "he hopes to make it his next movie after he finishes shooting "Blackbird," the thriller he's currently making with Olivia Wilde."

Turner has written a diverse amount of screenplays for directors as diverse as Michael Mann and Thomas Bezucha. He's best known for working on Jason Reitman on Up in the Air
