Kevin Spacey Sends Cease & Desist to CASSETTES WON'T LISTEN
Discerning music fans will likely be familiar with Cassettes Won't Listen, the project of one Jason Drake. A few years ago Drake released Ludacris Democracy, a mash-up of Ludacris raps with instrumentation from Guns N Roses' then unreleased Chinese Democracy. This project won him a Cease & Desist from the RIAA and had to be pulled from the internet.
A new CWL record, titled KEVINSPACEY, was scheduled to be released on June 21. Spacey, apparently unamused at the title, had his laywers toss Drake another Cease & Desist to add to his collection. To keep himself out of court, Drake retitled the record and it will stil be released on the same day. Oh, wanna know the new title? EVINSPACEY! I'm guessing Spacey still won't be amused, but he apparently can't do anything now that the K has been dropped.
The video clip embedded above is for the song "Freeze & Explode" from CWL's 2008 record, Small Time Machine.
