HUNGER GAMES Sneak Peek...Now With Director Gary Ross' Commentary!

Although I enjoyed the teaser MTV gave of the Hunger Games I felt like it was short. I know I know! It's just a teaser, but I am so excited to see this movie that I want MORE! Getting to see her running through the woods was great, but I kinda wanted to see her interacting with someone else. I thought the voiceover obviously done by Gale was cool though.

Well, my whines have been answered! Director Gary Ross was nice enough to video chat for a bit with MTV about the teaser.

Gary provided some directorial insights into what we're seeing—and hearing—as Jennifer Lawrence crashes through the forest in the opening moments of the teaser.

I learned a few things from watching this new version of the teaser.

1. Gary knows all the books. You can tell he LOVES them and wants the movies to be as great as the books.

2. He wants the people that watch the movies to feel the same way they felt while reading the books. (Hopefully that means not too many changes.)

3. He completely believes in Jennifer as Katniss. He wants people to think of the actress and automatically think of Katniss. Like people associate Daniel Radcliffe to Harry Potter.

4. Gary Ross basically rocks for taking the time, while on set, to talk about the teaser for even a few minutes.

You can see the full article on MTV.com but here's the new and in my opinion improved teaser.
