Warner Bros. Picks Up Graphic Novel BOLIVAR For Animated Feature

Warner Bros. is set to bring us the movie adaptation of the upcoming graphic novel Bolivar. Bolivar is written and illustrated by Sean Rubin and is being published by Archaia Entertainment.

According to THR, "The graphic novel centers on a young girl named Sybil who moves to New York and finds out her neighbor is Bolivar, the last living dinosaur. Despite Sybil's persistent efforts, Bolivar refuses to befriend her. The dinosaur is somewhat of a recluse, tucked away from the world Sybil so desperately wants him to explore with her. He soon realizes how much she means to him and that he would risk everything for her."

This project came with a writer/director in Kealan O’Rourke. The film is expected to be an animated feature. The concept seems solid enough. Since the graphic novel hasn’t come out yet--it is due May 2013, the synopsis is all that we have to go off of. As always, we will give you more info as it is released.  Until then, let us know what you think.
