343 Industries Takes Us Deeper into What to Look Forward to in HALO INFINITE's Free Multiplayer

During the Xbox + Bethesda showcase at E3, fans got a little bit of information regarding Halo Infinite’s multiplayer like the fact that it will be available for free. They then dropped a much bigger video going a bit more in-depth at what fans will be able to enjoy in the multiplayer experience. Fans got to understand more of what the developers considered while creating the experience and how they looked at how different aspects like a sandbox feel were put into play.

One new thing is that vehicles can be damaged and changed (like a Warthog losing a wheel) that changes how the vehicles handle. They also added Pelicans dropping the vehicles, and more smaller touches that sound really nice. Players will also be able to have customized A.I. in addition to customizable armor. One cool feature is that when customizing your Spartan, you can now have prosthetics.

The team has also made Battle Pass purchases permanent. Once purchased, they will never fade away. Anything that can change the game will be unlocked by playing and purchasable cosmetics will not have any impact on gameplay.

You can go to the Academy if you need to practice or start a tutorial. You can practice with specific weapons and enjoy training matches against bots.

This sounds great and I’m very excited for Halo Infinite to launch with the free-to-play multiplayer experience.
