Amazon Alexa Expanding With Upgrade Celebrity Voices Including Samuel L. Jackson

I have to tell you that when I first got whichever iPhone it was that came with Siri, she was fun at first because you could ask her stupid questions and all that, but when I was in need of her to tell me how to get somewhere or something else out of necessity, I was pretty annoyed with her voice, especially when I didn’t follow her directions and she seemingly got irritated with me. Things have been better since I switched Siri to the Australian man’s voice. He’s more chill, and we get along better. And now we are going to have an upgrade option with Alexa, and it’s even cooler than a generic voice. We will have familiar voices obeying our every command!

The Amazon tech assistant will now be voiced by many favorite celebrities, the first of which is Samuel L. Jackson. The distinct voice of the badass actor will serve as the voice of any Alexa device with just a 99 cent charge. The company’s blog post says that Jackson’s voice “can tell you jokes, let you know if it’s raining, set timers and alarms, play music and more – all with a bit of his own personality,” and you will have the option of “explicit and non-explicit.”

The report also says there will be more celebrity voices available next year. Will you get the Samuel L. Jackson, or is there another voice you’re holding out for?
