AMC Pushes Back The Premiere of NOS4A2 Season 2 and Extends The CREEPSHOW Run To Six Weeks
AMC has made a couple of changes to their schedule. The network has pushed back the premiere date of Joe Hill’s supernatural horror series NOS4A2 Season 2. The 10-episode second season was initially set to premiere on June 1st, but it will now debut on Sunday, June 21st at 9 pm ET/8c. I imagine they just need a little more time to finish up the post-production work on the series with work being done remotely these days.
The second season of NOS4A2 picks up eight years after the events of season one. “Vic McQueen remains more determined than ever to destroy Charlie Manx. Charlie, having faced his own mortality, emerges desperate for revenge against Vic. This time, he sets his sights on the person who means most to Vic – her eight-year-old son Wayne. The race for Wayne’s soul sends Vic and Charlie on a high-speed collision course, forcing both to confront the mistakes of their pasts in order to secure a hold on Wayne’s future.”
AMC also announced that the first season of the horror anthology series Creepshow, which is currently available on Shudder, will now air over the course of six weeks on AMC instead of three. The series will premiere at 10 p.m. Monday, May 4th, and run on consecutive Mondays through June 8th.
Creepshow is executive produced by showrunner Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead) and is based on Stephen King and George A. Romero’s 1982 anthology horror film. The series also features an all-star cast, including David Arquette (Scream franchise), Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog), Tobin Bell (Saw), Big Boi (Scream: The TV Series), Jeffrey Combs (Star Trek, Re-Animator), Kid Cudi (Drunk Parents), Bruce Davison (X-Men), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), Dana Gould (Stan Against Evil), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) and DJ Qualls (Supernatural).
