Another Crazy Cameo Rumored For DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE
We all know that Deadpool & Wolverine is going to be filled with a ridiculous amount of cameos. There are so many that have been rumored, but we have yet to see which one will actually appear in the film.
Director Shawn Levy has confirmed that some of the casting rumors that have been reported are actually true. Some of them have been confirmed in the trailers released, but there are going to be so many more.
Now, a new rumor has surfaced that fans are sure to find interesting. This latest rumor comes from inside scooper MTTSH. If you don’t want to know any other info, possible SPOILERS ahead.
According to the report, Captain America actor Chris Evans will appear in Deadpool & Wolverine, but not as Cap. Instead, he will appear as his version of Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch from the 2005 Fantastic Four movie and its sequel, Rise of the Silver Surfer.
It would be pretty damn funny if this rumor actually turned out to be true! I guess this means that there’s a chance that Ioan Gruffudd’s Reed Richards, Jessica Alba’s Sue Storm, and Michael Chiklis’ The Thing could show up as well.
I’ve also heard that Pedro Pascal has shot scenes as his version of Mr. Fantastic for Deadpool & Wolverine, but I don’t know if that will end up in the final cut of the film.
Some of the other rumored characters include Halle Berry as Storm, Famke Jensen as Jean Grey, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and James Marsden as Cyclops. Then, of course, there’s Taylor Swift.
Some of the other rumored casting includes Brian Cox as William Striker, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Lewis Tan as Shatterstar, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Taron Edgerton as a different Wolverine, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Dafne Keen as X-23, Rebecca Romijn as Raven, Julian McMahon as Doctor Doom, Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth, Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine, and Channing Tatum as Gambit.
Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld previously made comments about the cameos, saying: “I’ve been very fortunate people put stuff in front of me. And trust me, all I’m saying is, I saw that cast list. I think people are just going to freakin’ get blown away, and I’m not saying shit more than what I just said.”
The confirmed cast includes Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin as the villain, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. They are joined by Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend Yukio. It was previously confirmed that Jennifer Garner will return as Elektra in the movie.
