Apple Releases a "Haptic" Feel Trailer For Brad Pitt's F1 Racing Movie
Apple has released a fun new trailer for director Joseph Kosinski’s F1 movie that you can only watch on your phone. This trailer features "haptic" vibration feedback when you watch it.
This looks like a great movie and I’m excited about watching it, especially with Kosinski directing as he is such a talented technical director who knows how to take audeinces on a wild thrill ride!
In the film, “Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a Formula One driver who raced in the 1990s, has a horrible crash, forcing him to retire from Formula One and start racing in other disciplines. A Formula One team owner and friend contacts Hayes and asks him to come out of retirement to mentor rookie prodigy Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) on the Apex Grand Prix team.”
The movie also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Javier Bardem, Sarah Niles, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and lots of F1 drivers and team members as themselves.
This special "haptic" trailer can only be watched on Apple phones using the Apple TV app. When you play it, the rumble of the Formula One cars can be felt in your hands. It’s a fun promo gimmick. Click here to check it out!
F1 hits theaters starting June 27th, 2025.
