Awesome New Trailer for Disney's MULAN Makes Me Wish I Could Watch It on the Big Screen!
Disney+ has released a new action-packed trailer for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Mulan, and it’s filled with some awesomely epic new footage. This movie was beautifully shot, and it looks like it’s going to be filled with stunning visuals. It’s a shame that fans won’t be able to experience it on the big screen.
As I watched the trailer all I was thinking is that I wish I could watch this movie in theaters on the big screen. That’s what it was made for! Unfortunately, Disney decided to release it on Disney+ for an extra $29.99. That news bummed me out.
The movie was directed by Niki Caro (Whale Rider), and this is the synopsis:
When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential.
