Awesome New Trailer For Dwayne Johnson's BLACK ADAM Drops at Comic-Con

The hype for Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam exploded at WB’s presentation at Comic-Con today! Dwayne Johnson made quite the epic entrance in Hall H when he came on stage dressed up as Black Adam with light striking behind him and thunder roaring in the room. It was pretty cool. He also once again promised that the hierarchy in the DC universe is going to change with the introduction of this character,

A new trailer was unleashed for the movie at Comic-Con and it featured some awesome new footage! I wasn’t so sure about this film, but there’s a good chance that it will actually live up to the hype! I hope it does! I hope this movie kicks ass!

Black Adam also stars Aldis Hodge (Underground, The Invisible Man), who plays Hawkman in the film; Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I Love Before, Charlie's Angels) as Atom Smasher; Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets, Euphoria) as Cyclone; and Pierce Brosnan (GoldenEye, Mamma Mia!) as Doctor Fate, as well as Sarah Shahi (Person of Interest, The L Word), Marwan Kenzari (The Old Guard, Aladdin), and Uli Latukefu (Young Rock), who have been cast in unspecified roles.

Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise) is directing Black Adam, from the most recent script, written by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. Adam Sztykiel wrote the previous draft.

Johnson previously talked about how he’s been preparing to play Black Adam his entire life, saying, "I started training for Black Adam when I came out of the womb. I believe I was born to play this character. But in all honesty, this project has been with me for 10 ten years now. The process began when we started to stand the material up and really developed it into what it is present day. Once the start date was agreed on by our Seven Bucks production company, the rest of my team, Warner Bros. Studio, and DC Comics, I started to build an exhaustive training program with my coach Dave Rienzi. I wanted to come into this in the best shape of my career."

Black Adam is set to hit theaters on October 21st, 2022.
