Brian Tyree Henry Teases an Emotional and Messy Conclusion to Trilogy in SPIDER-MAN: BEYOND THE SPIDER-VERSE
While we await the conclusion of the animated trilogy set to wrap with Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, one of the film’s stars, Brian Tyree Henry, is teasing how fans can expect to feel while watching this final story roll out.
Henry, who voices Miles' father Jefferson Morales in the movies, was asked if he could share an update on the status of the delayed film while speaking to Variety.
All he could say of its status was, "In all due time. We have to conclude it. It has to be concluded. Can you imagine if we were like, 'That’s it. He’s in a portal and that’s it.'"
Henry went on to talk about how the trilogy is going to wrap up, and how fans might be expected to react when they see the conclusion.
"Look, it takes time, but we got to make you wait a little bit. You know what I mean? But it’s coming. It’s coming. There’s not going to be a dry eye in the house. I’ll tell you that. Good luck. It’s not going to wrap up in a nice little bow what things do."
Well that sounds ominous! It sounds like the Spider-Verse may have an ending similar to the MCU’s Spider-Man Home trilogy. That was also a bummer. But, we know that just like Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, we will see Miles Morales again. In fact, Marvel head Kevin Feige has already confirmed that the end of Miles Morales’s animated reign will usher in the live-action Miles Morales we’ve all been waiting for.
Stay tuned for updates.
