CALL OF DUTY: GHOSTS Co-Op Revealed, Now With More Aliens!

Tired of zombie games? How about aliens? Then you’ll be excited for the newly announced co-op mode for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Called "Extinction" mode, it features battling hordes of aliens rather than zombies! Innovation! Sarcasm aside, the reveal trailer makes the game actually look pretty fun, although it does channel Metro 2033 pretty heavily. Give it a watch!

I've spent time with the Call of Duty: Zombies modes, and they are generally decent. "Extinction" mode looks like it is trying to shake things up a bit, which the Call of Duty franchise desperately needs at this point. It even includes scavenging and “class leveling,” which isn't terribly original, but I've enjoyed my fair share of class-based shooters, so it could be fun. Call of Duty: Ghosts will hit shelves on December 5th
