Capcom Recently Revealed STREET FIGHTER V: CHAMPION EDITION
Capcom recently made a pretty big announcement for Street Fighter fans. In February 2020, the company will be launching Street Fighter V: Champion Edition! This version of the game will include all previously released content (with the exclusion of Fighting Chance costumes, brand collaboration costumes, and Capcom Pro Tour DLC). This means that fans will get 40 characters, 34 stages, and over 200 costumes in addition to a variety of single- and multi-player modes.
In addition to this new mode, Capcom revealed that Gill is also returning to the franchise with Champion Edition. Of course, you can get Gill early if you already own a version of Street Fighter V.
“Gill is a master of both pyrokinesis and cryokinesis, allowing him to control fire and ice with perfect elemental balance (hence his outward appearance). Typically plotting behind the scenes, Gill is now ready to reveal himself to the world, as he sets out to fulfill the prophecy that the Secret Society has coveted since ancient times.”
Gill will be available in December 2019 for $5.99 or 100,00 Fight Money (an in-game currency), and Champion Edition will be available on February 14, 2020 with an MSRP of $29.99. If you already own Street Fighter V, you can purchase an Upgrade Kit for $24.99. This will give you access to any Champion Edition content you do not already have as it becomes available.
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will be available on PC and PS4.
