CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD McDonalds Toys Seem to Confirm Rumored Character Will Show Up

A leak featuring McDonald’s tie-in toys for Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World reveals some new details about the movie, including the appearance of a rumored character.

We’ve talked about this character in the past, but since this might actually be a confirmation, I’m treating this as a spoiler just to be safe. So, proceed with caution.

On top of giving us a cartoonish look at what Captain America’s new costume will look like, along with the costumes of a few other characters, the collection also includes a Red Hulk figure!

So, it looks like Harrison Ford’s President Thunderbolt Ross will appear as Red Hulk in the movie, just as he does in the pages of Marvel comics. This is something that we were all expecting, and it going to be really cool to see what it actually looks like in the movie!

The other figures Falcon’s new suit for Torres, a character who appears to be Diamondback (listed as Cascavel, or 'rattlesnake' in Portuguese), Ruth, who is potentially Sabra, and the new Captain America suit, which looks similar to the one seen in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier finale.

The first footage from this movie was screened recently at CinemaCon, and we were there to watch it! You can watch our video reaction here, but the footage showed President Ross tasking Sam Wilson with rebuilding the Avengers.

This exchange came with a little tension over who would be calling the shots for the team… Sam Wilson or President Ross? Then all hell breaks loose when there’s an assassination attempt on Ross’s life.

Kevin Feige previously talked about the dynamic between the characters Wilson and Ross, saying: “There's a dynamic between President Ross and Sam Wilson. They have a history together, but in this film, we'll be seeing the dynamic between Captain America and the president of the United States in a way that is just incredible.”

In the film, Anthony Mackie is back in the role of Sam Wilson, who is now Captain America. The movie also stars Liv Tyler, Shira Haas, Tim Blake Nelson, Rosa Salazar, Danny Ramirez, and Carl Lumbly.

Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) is directing the film from a script penned by Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman, both of whom wrote for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Spellman will produce with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

Captain America: Brave New World arrives on February 14, 2025.
