Chilling New Trailer For George R.R. Martin's SyFy Series NIGHTFLYERS
“Our mission was clear. Make contact. Bring back solutions for our dying planet.”
Obviously, things take a nightmarish turn on this mission! The Syfy Channel has released new trailer for their upcoming sci-fi series Nightflyers, which comes from the mind of George R.R. Martin. This trailer teases the horrors that await.
Nightflyers is based on the novella written by Martin, that tells the story of "eight maverick scientists and a powerful telepath who embark on an expedition to the edge of our solar system in the hopes of contacting alien life. They travel aboard The Nightflyer – a ship with a small tight knit crew and a reclusive captain. But when terrifying and violent events begin to take place they start to question each other, and surviving the journey proves harder than anyone thought."
The series looks like it’s going to tell a great horror sci-fi story and I’m excited about watching it. I love stories like this!
The series stars Gretchen Mol as Dr. Agatha Matheson, alongside Eoin Macken as Karl D’Branin, David Ajala as Roy Eris, Sam Strike as Thale, Maya Eshet as Lommie, Angus Sampson as Rowan, Jodie Turner-Smith as Melantha Jhirl, and Brían F. O’Byrne as Auggie.
Nightflyers will premiere on Sunday, December 2, and it will be followed by a new episode every night through Thursday, December 6. The remaining episodes will then air Sunday, December 9 through Thursday, December 13.
