Cool MONSTER SQUAD Poster Art Created By GOOSEBUMPS Book Cover Artist Tim Jacobus
I’ve got a great poster here to share with you for the classic 1987 film Monster Squad, and what makes this poster art so special is the fact that it was created by artist Tim Jacobus, who also created the cocer art for R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps series.
Jacobus shared the art of Instagram and he said: “Monster Squad Movie Poster (2017) - I’ve never posted this piece before. This isn’t the actual movie poster.
“This was a private commission for a group of movie fans for their private collection. This movie is a real 90’s classic!”
Monster Squad is a great blend of horror, comedy, and adventure, and the story follows a group of misfit kids obsessed with monsters.
When Dracula assembles a team of classic Universal-style creatures, including Frankenstein’s Monster, the Wolfman, the Mummy, and the Gill-Man, to take over the world, it's up to these young fans to stop them.
Armed with their monster knowledge and makeshift weapons, the kids set out to prevent Dracula from obtaining an ancient amulet that could grant him ultimate power.
