Damon Lindelof's New Film Project THE HUNT is Picked Up By Universal

Universal Pictures is victorious in winning a bidding war for the rights to Damon Lindelof's new film project The Hunt. Lindelof, who has worked on LOST and The Leftovers, wrote a spec script with Nick Cuse, and it's described as being an action-thriller.

The film already has a director attached, and that director is Craig Zobel (Z for Zachariah). Lindelof, Cuse, and Zobel all worked together on HBO's The Leftovers, so if you're a fan of that series, then this is a movie to get excited about. The movie is also set up at Blumhouse Productions with Jason Blum (Get Out, Split, Happy Death Day) set to produce.

Unfortunately, no plot details have been revealed yet. The report doesn't even offer a hint. All we've got at this point is that it will be an action-thriller. As someone who enjoyed The Leftovers, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of this film project.
