David Duchovny, Henry Winkler and Ving Rhames Land Series Projects at The History Channel

The History Channel has ordered a several new shows featuring the likes of David Duchovny, Henry Winkler and Ving Rhames.

There are a new show with American PickersMike Wolfe and a new documentary coming from LeBron James’ Uninterrupted.

Secrets Declassified with David Duchovny is hosted by The X-Files star and it will “reveal the latest evidence behind some of the government’s most secretive activities that have been declassified throughout history.” The ten-part series will premiere on April 4th.

Hazardous History with Henry Winkler is an eight-part series covers the “reckless and dangerous pastimes, practices and products you would never see today but were once a part of everyday Americana.”

History’s Deadliest with Ving Rhames is a ten-part series that follows Rhames “as he reveals the stranger than truth facts behind some of the world’s most prolific and powerful killers.”

History’s Greatest Picks with Mike Wolfe is an eight-part series that follows the American Pickers star “as he dives into the stories and values behind legendary treasures, relics, and artifacts from history.

Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling is “a two-hour doc that will follow the parallel lives and careers of African American heavyweight champion Louis and German heavyweight champion Schmeling, who overcame significant social and political obstacles while going toe-to-toe in two of the most legendary boxing ring matchups of all time.

“With World War II on the horizon, the fights symbolized the broader social and political conflicts between the democratic United States and fascist Nazi Germany and would see these athletes forge an unlikely lifelong friendship, and a legendary place in history.’

I’ll probably end up watching all of these. I’m addicted to The History Channel.
