DC's THE FLASH Movie is Moving Pretty Slowly as The Movie is Getting Another Rewrite

Ezra Miller recently teased that The Flash movie he is set to star in would feature “a speedster multiverse” and now we’ve learned that the script is currently going through another rewrite. That rewrite is coming from the film’s directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Game Night).

They were initially hired to direct The Flash from a script that was written by Joby Harold (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword). Before they came on board, Seth Grahame-Smith was on board to write and direct the project and then Rick Famuyiwa came in to replace him. Things didn’t work out with the scripts that have been written and now Daley and Goldstein are doing another rewrite.

I’m actually glad to hear that they are writing the script, I think that they’ll bring some really cool and fun elements to the film when it eventually gets made. While this is a movie about a ridiculously fast superhero, the film development is moving very slowly.

At this point, with all the changes that DC has been making, I’m not quite sure what to expect from this movie. But, I hope it’s good!
