Sam Raimi Casts Dylan O’Brien Opposite Rachel McAdams in the Horror Thriller SEND HELP
Dylan O’Brien is set to star alongside Rachel McAdams in Sam Raimi’s upcoming survival horror thriller Send Help, which is set up at 20th Century Studios.
Raimi is producing and directing the film, which centers on “two colleagues who become stranded on a deserted island, the only survivors of a plane crash.
“On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.”
The movie is based on an original script written by Baywatch scribes Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. The film is expected to get a theatrical release.
I’m excited that Raimi is directing a new horror film and I’m looking forward to seeing how this story plays out with his signature filmmaking style. This is sure to be a really fun horror flick!
O’Brien is just coming off of Jason Reitman’s highly-acclaimed film Saturday Night where he played a young Dan Aykroyd.
O’Brien also starred in Caddo Lake, which is a mind-bending supernatural thriller from producer M. Night Shyamalan and the writing and directing team of Logan George and Celine Held.
