Endearing Trailer For Buddy Comedy SACRAMENTO Starring Michael Cera & Michael Angarano

The full trailer has been released for the quirky buddy comedy Sacramento starring Michael Cera (Juno, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Michael Angarano (Lords of Dogtown, Laid), Kristen Stewart (Twilight, American Ultra), and Maya Erskine (Pen15, Mr. and Mrs. Smith). The film so stars Rosalind Chao, A.J. Mendez, Iman Karram.

The synopsis reads:

“Following the death of his father, energetic and free-spirited Rickey (Michael Angarano) convinces his long-time friend Glenn (Michael Cera) to go on an impromptu road trip from Los Angeles driving up to Sacramento.

“Frustrated by Rickey’s Peter Pan complex, Glenn is encouraged by his pregnant wife Rosie (Kristen Stewart) to go on the adventure to reconnect.

“In the worn yellow seats of Glenn's old convertible, the two confront their anxiety-ridden lives, addressing past mistakes and questioning what their futures hold.”

Sacramento marks the second film directed by actor Michael Angarano (Avenues), who wrote the script with Christopher Nicholas Smith.

This looks like a fun little story with some great actors that will be fun to watch. The film premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival last year, and it will debut in select US theaters on April 11.
