EVIL DEAD Remake Director Up For JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK Film
The Justice League Dark film project has been getting a lot of traction lately. We've already heard some casting rumors that include Ron Perlman as Swamp Thing, and Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor being eyed for Constantine. Then we heard that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story co-star Ben Mendelsohn could take on the villain role of Anton Arcane.
The news continues to roll in, and now we have a list of three directors who are up to take the place of director Guillermo del Toro. According to JoBlo, the top three contenders for the gig currently include directing duo Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado (Big Bad Wolves) and Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead remake).
The only director I'm really familiar with is Alvarez. I love what he did with the Evil Dead remake, and although he's no del Toro, I still think he would make a solid choice to take on Justice League Dark. This movie needs a decent director, so hopefully the studio finds one that will take the project in the right direction and give the fans something they'll enjoy.
Who on this short list of directors would you like to see take on the film? Is anyone familiar with Keshales and Papushado's work? If so, are they a better choice than Alvarez?
