Ex-CAPTAIN MARVEL Actress DeWanda Wise Wants to Play Storm in the MCU
Last week we heard that the She’s Got to Have It star DeWanda Wise had scheduling conflicts that lead her to leave her mystery role (many fans believe it to be Monica Rambeau) in Captain Marvel. However, Wise still wants to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to an Instagram post, her proposal is that she should be Storm when the X-Men join the MCU. The post has since been deleted, but fans have been saving screenshots.
Now, we don’t know when the X-Men will join the MCU, but it’s fun to see who is throwing their hats into the ring for when Marvel is able to and decides to add the beloved mutants. Do you think that Wise would be a good pick for Storm? Who would you like to see play Storm? I have not seen Wise at work, so I will reserve my judgment. My fan-cast however, would be Angela Bassett, but she’s already Ramonda in the MCU, so I guess I need to think of someone else.
