This June may only have a few Triple-A titles, but they look to be incredible and easy contenders for game of the year. But we can’t forget about our indie games, there are plenty of them coming this month and here are a few that we most excited to play.

Valorant - June 2nd

PC

The Overwatch killer? Between League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runterra, could Riot start to knock Blizzard of its high horse? I honestly doubt it for now at least, but Valorant is coming tomorrow and is a strong team-FPS game with slick shooting, cool abilities, and tight gameplay.

Demon’s Tier+ - June 9th

Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

When we think of twin-stick shooters, we imagine guns, spaceships, soldiers, and even more guns. Here to shake things up, Demon’s Tier+ takes players through a fantasy world and rogue-like journey to fight the depths of evil while being an action, twin-stick shooter. This game already had great reception on PC and we can't wait to put our thumbs to the test.

Evan’s Remains - June 11th

PC, PlayStation 4

With a deep story, beautiful animation and engaging platforming puzzles, Evan’s Remains looks to be a wonderful hidden gem coming in June. Made mostly by just one person, this game has incredible visuals, smooth gameplay, and smart puzzles. Check out the demo here before the game comes out, you won’t regret it.

Disintegration - June 16th

PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One

Want to pilot a flying death machine? Use first person precision to kill enemies? Give orders to groups of troops to take over the battlefield? Here is your chance to do it all at once. Disintegration seems to be a happy marriage of commanding from above while still taking part directly in the conflict. The release date for Playstation 4 is not totally confirmed, but check it out on Xbox One and PC later this month.

The Last of Us Part II - June 19th

PlayStation 4

The crown jewel of the month, and possibly the year. Naughty Dog is no stranger to receiving Game of the Year Awards multiple times for many of their games, and The Last of Us Part II looks to be no different. The gripping story, brutal gameplay, and countless new elements to bring players in this world is mind-blowing. You won’t want to miss this game.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated - June 23rd

PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows

Coming back from the PS2 and GameCube days, SpongeBob is back with the game Battle for Bikini Bottom. With some nice visual upgrades and some other tweaks and changes, we’re excited to get back to the ocean floor and kick some fin!
