GLOOMHAVEN and the FORGOTTEN CIRCLE Expansion Are Both on Sale

Gloomhaven is a wildly popular board game that I’ve often heard compared to Dungeons & Dragons. I would love to play it, but the game usually costs well over $100. Well, I may have to really keep an eye on the deals (like the current one on Amazon for only $95) because the expansion, Gloomhaven: Forgotten Circles, is also currently on sale as well on Amazon for only $32.99. That may not be a big deal to some, but with games this expensive you’ll take most breaks you can get.

“This is the first expansion for Gloomhaven featuring twenty new scenarios that take place after the events of the original Gloomhaven campaign which involve one new character class — the Aesther Diviner — and her attempts to prevent an approaching calamity. The accompanying scenario book breaks these scenarios up across multiple pages to create more dynamic and surprising encounters. The expansion also features seven new monster types (including three new bosses) and fourteen new items.”

The one trick with legacy games like Gloomhaven is that there’s little replayability. Thankfully, there are removable stickers that you can get so that it’s easier to replay this game with your friends and help justify that big price tag.
