GODZILLA: KING OF MONSTERS Hints At KONG: SKULL ISLAND Connection

Godzilla: King of Monsters was expected to tie in with Kong: Skull Island somehow, and now director Michael Dougherty has teased part of how the two worlds will collide. Dougherty revealed in an interview with Rotten Tomatoes (seen below) that one character from Kong: Skull Island will be showing up during the film, but did not reveal who it's going to be. Just as a reminder, Kong: Skull Island is set in the 70s so whoever they pick to appear in the present day will look much older than they did in the film.
