Guillermo del Toro's CABINET OF CURIOSITIES Series Gets a Creepy Teaser Trailer

Netflix has dropped the first teaser trailer for Guillermo del Toro's upcoming anthology horror series Cabinet of Curiosities, and it’s going to bring the creepy awesomeness! The series will consist of 8 blood-curdling tales of horror, and these sinister stories are told by some of today’s most revered horror creators. I like what I’m seeing in this teaser, and I’m diggin’ the whole vibe!

The stories told in Cabinet of Curiosities are “meant to challenge our traditional notions of horror. From macabre to magical, gothic to grotesque or classically creepy, the eight sinister tales — including two original works by del Toro — will be brought to life by a team of writers and directors personally chosen by the Shape of Water filmmaker.”

The writers and directors who will contribute to the series include Jennifer Kent (The Babadook), David Pryor (The Empty Man), Guillermo Navarro (Narcos), Keith Thomas (Firestarter), Panos Cosmatos (Mandy), Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), Vincenzo Natali (Cube) and Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night).

The series also features an impressive cast that includes Andrew Lincoln, Ben Barnes, Essie Davis, Crispin Glover, Eric André, Sofia Boutella, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Rupert Grint, Kate Micucci, and Charlyne Yi. Other actors who were previously announced include F. Murray Abraham, Luke Roberts, Tim Blake Nelson, Hannah Galway, Glynn Turman, Elpidia Carrillo, Demetrius Grosse, Sebastian Roché, Peter Weller and David Hewlett.

Del Toro co-showruns Cabinet of Curiosities with J. Miles Dale. There’s no release date, but this is a show that horror fans are sure to enjoy!
