Here's What Players Can Expect from CIVILIZATION VI's New Frontier Pass

Civilization VI is still free on the Epic Games Store for a couple more days and is a fantastic strategy game. Well, the team recently revealed a new way that they’re going to be releasing DLC for the game. Instead of releasing items for individual purchase or as small packs, you now buy the New Frontier Pass.

This costs $40 and gives you access to the next 6 DLC packs as they launch every few months. The first pack is the Maya & Gran Colombia Pack available now with the Ethiopia Pack launching in July.

All of the packs bring in at least one new civilization along with other new goodies like World Wonders, Districts, City-States, and even game modes.

The model itself isn’t new to gaming, but it is new for the franchise. If you want new content without dropping a penny, the team is going to be giving free updates to all players as well which will include new maps, scenarios, balance changes and more. What new civilizations are you hoping to see brought to the game?
