Hulu Is Allowing Subscribers To Buy Tickets To TOMB RAIDER After Watching The Trailer
Hulu is doing something a bit different with its interactive ads, and it might be a sneak peek into the future of television. Variety reports a new ad for the film is allowing subscribers to purchase tickets for the film ahead of its opening in theaters March 16. No word on how successful the venture has been, although this looks like the beginning of an era where advertisers realize there are more options for commercials on streaming. Let's just hope things don't start spiraling out of control with this new venture because if I start getting prompted to do a thousand things during a single ad, that's going to piss me off.
For now, though, I think this feature is pretty cool. What about you?
