Apple TV+ has released an intense trailer for their upcoming series Dope Thief, starring Brian Tyree Henry and Wagner Moura as best friends and partners in crime who rob the wrong people and have to deal with the aftermath.

Based on Dennis Tafoya’s book of the same name, Dope Thief follows lifelong friends (Henry and Moura) who see their lives torn apart after a robbery unravels a narcotics corridor. The cast also includes Marin Ireland, Kate Mulgrew, Nesta Cooper, Amir Arison, Dustin Nguyen and Ving Rhames, with Ridley Scott directing the first episode.

Dope Thief premieres globally on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes Friday, March 14th, before new episodes drop weekly.

This looks like it’s going to be a fantastic, edge-of-your-seat thriller. Check out the trailer below:
