Jason Bateman Signs On For ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Season 5

Arrested Development is coming back for a fifth season! Hopefully it continues to bring on the laughs!

Season 4, perhaps, wasn't as graceful as the previous seasons, but it still managed to make me laugh, and had some of the funniest moments of the series. Which is why I'm so excited to hear they are working on a season five and that Jason Bateman has now officially signed on to do more!

Bateman made the announcement himself on Twitter Saying:

Look very probable I'm going to put some miles on the Stair Car this summer. Just officially signed on to more ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT today.

I couldn't be happier about this news. I hope that the whole cast returns again. It wouldn't be Arrested Development without them! Maybe they'll be able to convince some other A-list actors to join in the fun as well in some guest appearances. Some of my personal favorite moments have involved Ben Stiller as a rival magician to Gob, and Furiosa herself, Charlize Theron, as a handicapped British woman who dates Michael. This show is epic. Just hearing it mentioned has me wanting to go rewatch old episodes. Gotta go!
