Jesse Eisenberg Hopes He Will Get to Play Lex Luthor Again in The DC Cinematic Universe

I wasn't really a big fan of how Jesse Eisenberg portrayed Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. I know there are a few fans that did like him in the role, which is cool, but it just didn't work for me.

Lex Luthor's return to the DC Cinematic Universe was teased in the post-credits scene for Justice League when he recruited Deathstroke. But now it doesn't even look like that whole Deathstroke setup is even going to happen!

We have no idea if Jesse Eisenberg will reprise his role in any of the future DC films. But, in a recent interview with Variety, he talks about how much he loves playing the character and hopes that he gets another chance:

"I hope so. I mean, I have no idea is the truth. I love playing the character. Probably in terms of movie acting, it’s the most enjoyable character I’ve had the opportunity to play. So I would love to do it again. But I don’t know what their slate is. If you have any pull, please use it."

If Lex Luthor does eventually appear again, I assume the best bet would be in the Man of Steel sequel. We know Warner Bros. will eventually make that movie, which Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman, Kick-Ass) has been in talks to possibly direct. Vaughn is a big fan of Superman and he has explained he would do a modern day version of Richard Donner's classic film.

Even though we know a Man of Steel sequel will happen, it's said that it won't happen anytime soon.

The question is, did you like Jesse Eisenberg's version of Lex Luthor and would you like to see him reprise the role?
