Joe Manganiello Says DC's DEATHSTROKE Movie is Still in The Works
For those of you who are still wondering what's going on with DC Entertainment's Deathstroke movie that was teased at the end of Justice League, according to actor Joe Manganiello, it's still in development. When asked about it during an interview with MTV, the actor said:
"I say, ‘It’s in the works,’ because it is and there’s nothing further that I can say without speaking out of school. because I’m part of a team, I’m a part of a locker room — you don’t talk outside the locker room. But all I can say is, for the hardcore fans, it’s in the works. They want the character to happen, it’s just when he happens."
The Raid director Gareth Evans is said to be directing the film, and if that's the case, this movie is going to be ridiculously awesome. I love his films and I'm excited to see what he ends up doing with this character if he stays on the project.
The actor went on to say that "everybody is committed" to getting the character right as they bring him to the big screen. I have no idea when this movie will actually happen, but it's good to know that it's still in development and that they want to do the character justice.
What do you hope to see from this Deathstroke movie?
