Joey King’s Adventure Film THE PRINCESS Gets a Summer Premiere Date on Hulu and a New Photo

20th Century Studios recently announced that Joey King’s upcoming adventure film The Princess is set to premiere on Hulu on July 1st. They also shared a new photo featuring King looking like she’s ready to kick ass.

In the film, “When a beautiful, strong-willed princess refuses to wed the cruel sociopath to whom she is betrothed, she is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father's castle. With her scorned, vindictive suitor intent on taking her father's throne, the princess must protect her family and save the kingdom.”

It doesn’t sound like she’ll be locked away for long as she will have to escape if she wants to carry out her plan to save her family and the kingdom from this scoundrel. King is joined in the film by Dominic Cooper, Olga Kurylenko, and Veronica Ngo.

The Princess is directed by Le-Van Kiet (Furie) from a script written by Ben Lustig who previously worked on The Thirst, and Jake Thornton, who previously worked on Final Fantasy. The Princess is produced by action veteran Neal H. Moritz (Fast and Furious) and Derek Kolstad (John Wick).
