Jordan Peele is Developing a 1970s Set Nazi Hunter Series Called THE HUNT

Get Out director Jordan Peele has set up a new drama series called The Hunt. Peele is involving himself in all kinds of projects right now and this one sounds especially interesting because it deals with Nazi hunters in the 1970s.

The series is inspired by true events, and according to Deadline, the story follows "a diverse band of Nazi hunters in 1970s America as they set out on a quest for revenge and justice — tracking and killing hundreds of Nazis who, with the unconscionable help of the U.S. government, escaped justice and embedded themselves in American society."

I remember reading about this years ago and I always thought that the story would make a great film. Now it's getting a drama series and you can bet your ass that I'll be watching it!

The show is being written by David Weil (Moonfall) and as of right now no network is attached. This is a project that is currently being shopped around but it shouldn't be hard for it to find a home.

I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of this series.
