LEAGUE OF LEGENDS Animated Series ARCANE Delayed to 2021

Towards the end of last year, Riot Games announced a new League of Legends animated series called Arcane. The show was going to explore more of the world and lore behind League of Legends and was getting ready to launch sometime this year. Unfortunately, in a recent update to fans it was revealed that due to COVID-19, the series has been pushed back to 2021.

*Sigh* due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we unfortunately have to delay the worldwide release of our first animated series, Arcane, to 2021.

On the bright side, this isn’t because Riot has been slacking or anything. In fact they’ve been hard at work on their new games Legends of Runterra and Valorant. In the end, I think moving the launch of Arcane could be a really good move as it will allow more time for people to make sure the story is good.
