Live The Loser’s Club Worst Nightmare in IT-Themed Penny Wise The Clown Haunted House in Los Angeles
The It Experience is a pop-up haunted house coming to Los Angeles this month before the movie opens in theaters. It will give fans of Stephen King’s classic horror novel the opportunity to step into the nightmarish world of Penny Wise The Clown. It sounds like a lot of fun! Here are the details:
Walking into the Niebolt House, named for the abandoned house the Loser's Club first encounter Pennywise in the novel, guests will be able to experience "where It lives" as they are guided by Georgie, whose wayward paper sailboat sets the story in motion in the book and film, through the 5,000 sq. foot house as they venture from room to room through immersive sets inspired by scenes from the film with authentic props.
In groups of seven, visitors will form their own Loser's Club as they traverse the haunted lair of the murderous entity known as It for a 20-minute experience encountering pneumatic surprises, live actors, holographic images and animatronic beings.
The It Experience is only for guests 18 and older and it will run from August 14 to September 10th. It will be located at Hollywood Blvd. and Vine St. in Hollywood, so good luck trying to get in!
I’d love to go to this, but I imagine the line to get in is going to be ridiculously long. I’ll make an attempt to check it out, though.
