Make Religious Stories More Interactive with the RPG THE LIVING TESTAMENT: THE THREE MAGI

Justin Handlin of Crit Academy has created a fun 5th edition RPG for people who want to explore some stories from the Bible in a creative way. The Living Testament: The Three Magi is a project created to do just that.

The 80-page supplement includes all the rules that you’ll need in order to play, a starter adventure, beautiful artwork, and pregenerated characters ready to print and play. The starter adventure follows the three magi from the Christmas story.

The only complaint that I have about the RPG is that there aren’t any rules for creating characters. This was done deliberately to make things easier and less complicated for anyone to pick up though. Other than that, it looks like fun.

The Living Testament is a 5th Edition roleplaying game that drops the players right into the story. Walk alongside the Magi as they follow the star of Jacob. Protect them from wild beasts, sabotage King Herod’s plans, and fend off his army while Mary and Joseph escape with baby Jesus.

A new and fantastic way to include young disciples in learning the bible stories in a way that is engaging, memorable, and most importantly, fun.
