Marvel's RUNAWAYS Season 2 Gets a Wild New Trailer
I don’t know about you, but I really enjoyed the first season of Marvel’s Runaways! I thought it would be a good series, but for me, it still turned out being better than I expected. I’m very excited about the upcoming second season and today we have a new trailer to share with you giving us a great look at what we can expect to see from the story and characters as the show continues.
It has been reported that the series will pick up within hours of the first season’s finale. The heroes are desperately trying to figure out what to do next. As you’ll see in the trailer, the group discovers the classic deserted hostel hideout, which becomes their primary base of operations.
Showrunner Stephanie Savage explained that the show’s take on the hostel will be more of a luxurious mansion that was swallowed up by some kind of natural disaster. She also hinted that the latter half of the second season will feature the show’s "first real breadcrumb that connects us to the MCU, in some way." Here’s the official synopsis that was released for Season 2":
The Runaways have left their homes (and evil parents) behind and now have to learn to live on their own. As they scavenge for food, search for shelter, and take care of one another, our kids begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other. And it’s up to them to take down PRIDE once and for all. But someone sent a mysterious message to Jonah… Is there a mole in the Runaways? Meanwhile PRIDE is focused on finding their children, and Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind.
The entire second season of Runaways Season 2, which consists of 13-episodes, will be released on Hulu at once so that fans can binge through it if they want.
