Marvel's THE MARVELS and ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Swap Release Dates

Marvel Studios and The Walt Disney Company have announced that the release date for the Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels, has been pushed back. The movie was originally supposed to be released on February 17th, 2023. It will now hit theaters in the summer on July 28th, 2023.

They also announced that the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been moved up. It was originally scheduled for July 28th, 2023 and it will now be released on February 17th, 2023. So the two movies swapped release dates!

In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Paul Rudd reprises his role as Scott Lang a.k.a. Ant-Man, alongside Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne a.k.a. Wasp. Joining them are returning cast members Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne. Kathryn Newton plays Cassie Lang, the daughter of Scott Lang. Jonathan Majors will also be back in the role of Kang the Conqueror.

As for The Marvels, Brie Larson returns to the role of Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel. In the film, she’ll be joined by Teyonah Parris, who was first introduced as adult Monica Rambeau in Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, along with Iman Vellani, who will appear as Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Disney+ series.
