Michael Bay Would Like to Direct an Episode of YELLOWSTONE

I sure do enjoy a good Michael Bay action film. He’s had a pretty spectacular career making crazy-ass action movies that have entertained audiences. Yeah, he got stuck in a rut with the Transformers franchise, but he recently made a movie titled Ambulance, which is a hardcore, balls-to-the-wall action movie.

Anyway, while doing a recent Q&A with Collider, Bay was asked if he had any interest in directing a Star Wars film, and that question led him to say that he’d be much more interested in directing an episode of Kevin Costner’s neo-western series Yellowstone. Here’s his quote:

"Y'know...I would not want to do [something like] Star Wars 5 because...the greatest, the toughest thing for a director to do is to create the world, and I like creating the world. But [directing Yellowstone] might be fun. The horses, and the Stetson hats, and the beautiful landscape...it's a fun show."

Yellowstone is a great show! I don’t suspect Bay will ever be asked to direct an episode, but it got me thinking that it would be pretty awesome to see Bay direct a western! He’s never made one, and I would love to see him play that genre! I think he would make one hell of a crazy-ass western.
