Michael Myers Actor Nick Castle Says HALLOWEEN ENDS Has a "Surprising" Ending
Halloween fans have been very curious about the next film in the franchise Halloween Ends and how it will actually bring the film series to a close. This is confirmed to be the final film in the franchise, and after the events of Halloween Kills, it’s going to be interesting to see how the story arc for these characters play out.
Halloween Ends will take place four years after the events of this most recent movie. Director David Gordon Green previously talked about the sequel and what Laurie is dealing with, saying:
"We're jumping time a little bit in [Halloween Ends] but part of what we're exploring is how Laurie and a few of our characters have processed those years between Halloween 2018 and that night's events and tragedies to Halloween 2022 [tracing the journey] to where they will come to fruition in their psychological aftermath."
Green also said that Andi Matichak's Allyson will be a focal point of the story. "That's exactly what 'Halloween Ends' [explores] — the core of that story is [Allyson's] considerations and psychology."
Now, Michael Myers actor Nick Castle has offered some insight on the movie teasing that the movie is going to end in a very surprising way. While appearing at Pittsburgh's Steel City Con he said:
"My good friend James Jude Courtney, he's doing 99% of the work in the last three movies as Michael Myers and doing a wonderful job I think. I just saw he was over at the editing room where they're completing the first cut of Halloween Ends with David Gordon Green, of course, as the steward of the ship. It sounds like it should be pretty good."
He then went on to tease the ending:
"I think there might be more because of all the success of [this trilogy], but [Green] will have a very surprising storyline, an ending for everyone. It's absolutely something I don't think you would have ever guessed in terms of the way it's going to unroll."
That’s exciting to hear! I’m looking forward to seeing what that ending turns out to be! I can’t even begin to guess how it will end, but I imagine more people will die, and that very well may include some of the main characters.
Castle also confirmed he filmed a "little cameo" for what will be "the end, at least, of the David Gordon Green version of Halloween."
Halloween Ends is scheduled to open in theaters on October 14th.
