Neill Blomkamp Releases His Second Awesome Oats Studios Sci-Fi Short FIREBASE
Director Neill Blomkamp has released the second sci-fi short in his new Oats Studios series! It's called Firebase and it's set during the Vietnam War. The story follows an American soldier named Hines "through an ever-deepening web of science fiction madness." The description goes on to say that "the fabric of space-time literally beginning to bend around him."
I was completely engulfed in this short. I absolutely loved it! It has a great eerie vibe to it and there were some really cool visuals, especially when it came to the strange nightmarish creature effects. I also thought the whole Vietnam War setting made the story even more intriguing.
