Netflix Acquires US Distribution Rights for GUNPOWDER MILKSHAKE

Gunpowder Milkshake is an upcoming action film from director and writer Navot Papushado. The film is set to release later this year and Deadline is reporting that Netflix has scored the distribution rights for the film in the United States. In addition, a sequel for the film is already in early development which gives Netflix potentially another film franchise to boast about after nabbing the sequels for Knives Out.

Outside of the U.S., STX Films will retain distribution rights for Canada, China, and Latin America while Studiocanal will have rights for the UK, France, Germany, and AUZ/NZ.

Gunpowder Milkshake is slated to release in 2021 at the moment and stars Karen Gillan, Chloe Coleman, Lena Headey, Angela Bassett, Paul Giamatti, and Michelle Yeoh.
